The Midhurst Soapbox Derby & Classic Car Show is unfortunately CANCELLED for 2024 due to road construction in the area of Doran Road and Finlay Mill Road.
Local Emergency Services have requested that Doran Road stay open for emergency access while nearby roads are closed for sewer main installation.

One of Midhurst’s most popular events, the derby and car show were started about a decade ago, and have quickly gathered fans from not only Midhurst, but across Springwater and beyond. In this event, we invite kids and their parents to build a soapbox car and take part in timed races with their friends down Doran Road. Prizes will be given to the winners and lunch will be available for purchase.
